God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God. Genesis 1:1, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless, human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King. Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-5, John 14:10-30, Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 4:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, 1 Timothy 6:14-15
Given at Pentecost, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father. He was sent by Jesus after His ascension to empower the Church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth. The Holy Spirit is given to the believer at the time of salvation & is there to help us live victorious lives in Christ. He shouldn't be an after thought! Instead He is to have an active role in the life of every believer. We believe in the full manifestation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-18 // Acts 1:8 // Acts 2:1-4 // 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
The Holy Spirit demonstrates His presence through many spiritual gifts, with the purpose of building and purifying the Church, confirming the reality of Christ's resurrection, and affirming the power of the Gospel. These gifts can work together in different ways. All believers are urged by God's word to actively seek these gifts in their lives. However, it's crucial to note that these gifts should always align with the teachings of the Scriptures and should never be misused in violation of biblical principles. Romans 1:11 // Romans 12:4-8, // 1 Corinthians 12:1-31 // 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 // Ephesians 4:16 // 1 Timothy 4:14 // 2 Timothy 1:5-16 // Hebrews 2:5 // 1 Peter 4:10
The entire Old & New Testament scriptures are the unchanging, inspired word of God. We hold it as the absolute authority in all matters pertaining to the Christian life & doctrine. Psalm 119:89,105 // 2 Timothy 3:16 // 2 Peter 1:20-21 // Hebrews 4:12
There is one eternal God who created all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, & God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:13-17 // 1 John 5:7
The bible states that Jesus is the way, the truth, & the life. Salvation is a free gift from God, but we must accept it. Salvation is received by grace through faith & cannot be earned by any human efforts. John 14:6 // Ephesians 2:8-9
Without Jesus' resurrection, His story is merely just that, only a good story. The bible states that not only was Jesus raised from the dead, but because Jesus rose, now death is not the final say for any human being. 2 Corinthians 5:8 // Hebrews 6:2 // 1 Corinthians 15:12-23,55 // Romans 1:3-4
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called ‘sin’ and need God’s salvation. Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life. Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2
We are created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence. John 3:16, John 14:17, 1 Corinthians 2:7-9, Romans 6:23, Romans 8:17-18, Revelation 20:15
We believe God gave us the tools, plants, remedies, and skills necessary to live a healthy life, preventing sickcare as much as possible with a whole life holistic approach through balanced mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
We believe that our bodies are temples. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
God gives us the seed bearing plants for our health. Genesis 1:29
That we are not to conform to the ways of the world but be transformed through the renewing of our minds. Romans 12:2
