Married for over 26 years, they have been counseling couples on marriage and how to have a God-centered partnership since 2006, when the Holy Spirit anointed their relationship with a special calling for a renewed service in ministry.
Parenting together since 2009, they homeschool their three children and teach others about the importance of a Christ-centered education and home, a family-focused priority, and positive parenting.
Brian and Jennifer moved their family out of Overland Park in 2014, to a small farm in Miami County, so they could homestead, farm, and expand their ministry with a sanctuary on the land.
They have honed their homesteading skills and natural healing techniques using God's plants and nature's provisions and have a calling to share those experiences and skills.
The family expanded their ministry on the farm to teach these ways to others - with a church garden and orchard for healthy food, natural healing education and workshops, and communion with God on the land.
Tapping into their own God-given gifts, talents, and experiences, they offer educational classes and workshops on a variety of topics necessary for individuals and families to learn the skills needed to operate a family economy - focusing on small business skills, balancing multiple needs for each family member, finding each other's unique God-given talents, and teaching trade skills needed for self-sufficiency and family provision.
The family loves music, and the children are currently leading worship with instruments and song to continue praising and worshipping the Lord and letting their lights shine.
The church now offers Campfire Worship in their outdoor sanctuary on the farm on Saturday nights, weather permitting.
They are all very involved in community service and spreading the Word of God to the entire Kansas City metro area.
